Sky Data Vault Continues to Expand Private Cloud Service
Sky Data Vault (SDV) announced today that it has opened its newest data center presence with an Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) site in Dallas, TX. This new location brings Sky Data Vault’s US footprint to four data centers, each providing SDV with an enhanced service offering to its partner community and their customers. “Sky Data Vault now delivers cloud services with more reliability, more resiliency and with a managed service model that allows our customer to focus on their business while we manage the mission critical applications, data and software that drive their success,” notes Dave McPeak, President and CTO.
The SDV Private Cloud now operates an IaaS node, two geographically diverse storage nodes for Backup as a Service (BaaS), and a separate recovery node for Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS) customers. This new IaaS site offers customers the ability to host mission critical software, application, and data on new, state of the art infrastructure, without the capital expense or on-going headache of maintaining a data center.
